Ollie Turton back in contention after knee injury
Crewe Alexandra midfielder Ollie Turton has given Steve Davis a timely boost after making a successful return to playing for the club’s Under-21 side on Monday. The Altrincham-based youngster made a successful return to action in a 1-0 win over Birmingham City, with the on-loan Uche Ikpeazu scoring the only goal via the penalty spot.
Turton has been unavailable since injuring his knee against Sheffield United in a 3-1 defeat at Bramall Lane back in late October.
Turton, who has also played right-back and right wing-back for the first-team is fit and available for this weekend’s trip to Bradford City.
Defender George Ray (ankle), Max Clayton (ankle) and Ryan Colclough (Hernia) are out of the clash at Valley Parade.
