Pitch invading dog gets home safely!

Anyone who attended Crewe Alexandra’s home game with Brentford on Saturday are sure to remember the game in future. Not only did Brentford score three stunning goals to beat the Alex, but the game was also delayed by a pitch invader.

Of course this pitch invader was one with a difference, it had four legs! A husky dog somehow ended up on the Gresty Road playing surface just as the game was about to kick-off.

After running around the pitch for a few moments, the dog was eventually controlled and returned to its owner by the police. Everyone loves a happy ending!
