Positive Vibes From Loan Chats

Davis encouraged with initial talks with his loan players

Crewe Alexandra boss Steve Davis has told the club’s official web-site that he has received ‘positive vibes’ after holding preliminary talks with his current loan players. Davis has already spoken to Alan Tate about the possibility of him returning to South Cheshire in the New Year if his parent club Swansea City are open to the idea.

January. rdDavis is keen to re-introduce Tate’s experience back into the group and he will look at that again once the transfer window re-opens on 3

The Crewe boss also has to make decisions on his other loan players at the beginning of the year but he has already been encouraged by the feedback he has received from the players.

Steve told crewealex.net: “I’ve spoken to the players and they all say they are enjoying it here and happy to be playing. I have only had positive vibes from the conversations I’ve already had with them.

“They have all made a difference and have helped us improve over the last few weeks. With any loan deal it is somewhat out of our hands because they do not belong to us but they have all settled in well, they love the club, and want to do well here.

“They want to be playing regular football, so the next step will be to hold conservations with their club and their agents to see what is next for them in their careers.

He added: “We have made a positive start and we will see what happens. They have done well for us and that is what you want from loan players.”
