The Gaffer looking to utilise his full squad for the busy month ahead

Steve Davis admits he’ll have to make a number of changes in the coming weeks to deal with the volume of games his squad faces.

A second round Capital One Cup tie with Bolton and a first round JPT clash with Rochdale add to an already chocker-block league fixture programme over August and early September, but the boss isn’t worried as he believes it gives his whole squad a chance to prove themselves on the first team stage.

“We’ve got a lot of games this month and into next month with the cup games as well with the JPT kicking in and other competitions.

“Everybody’s available that was available before Saturday, so we’ve got plenty of options. We may make changes for those games, we’ve got the squad there to utilise, so it will give others opportunities.

“We’ll see if they can do better than the ones that have been playing. That’s healthy and it’s what well look to do over the coming games.”
