Alex to look at former QPR winger

Crewe Alexandra has taken winger Angelo Balanta on trial following his release from Queens Park Rangers in the summer. The 24-year-old Colombian-born wide man scored for a young Crewe Alexandra XI against Rocester last night and he will continue to train with us this week.

Balanta has scored three goals in 29 games (12 starts) for QPR and also spent three separate loan spells at MK Dons and others at Wycombe Wanders and Yeovil. He didn’t play make any first-team matches last season and would be available on a free transfer.
