Waters feels that being up against it bring the best of out of the Alex dressing room
Billy Waters firmly believes’ that the Crewe Alexandra dressing room possesses enough quality and belief to move away from the relegation zone. Waters has impressed when coming off the Crewe substitutes’ bench as an impact player and he once again threatened the Wolverhampton Wanderers’ goal during our 2-0 defeat at the weekend.
Ahead of a crucial Easter double header away at Shrewsbury and Colchester, Waters told the club’s official web-site: “All the lads remain upbeat and believe that we can get out of it. We can take some positives from our performances against Coventry and Wolves and when we won at Crawley.
There is certainly enough quality and talent in this team to make sure we get the points we will need. “Everyone is sticking together and working hard to get out of trouble. We have the fight within us and we know we have some massive games coming up.
“We have been left scratching our heads at times when we probably haven’t got what we felt we deserved in certain games but we are in the relegation zone at the moment and we are doing our best to try and get out of it and stay out.
“We know we have got to get results in the last four games. We are all fighting for something and when you are fighting for something and have that challenge I think you perform better. “
