Billy Waters signs new and improved two-year deal

Crewe Alexandra is delighted to announce the signing of Billy Waters on a new and improved two-year contract with an option for a further year. Waters, 19, has emerged as a potential first-team regular after some promising performances as a substitute and consistent displays for the club’s development squad.

Waters, who has emerged through the club’s renowned Academy system made his full debut away at Peterborough United last month and has made six cameo appearances as a substitute.

The Epsom-born midfielder made his senior debut away at Carlisle United in November, replacing Mark Ellis just after the hour mark.

Waters follows the likes of George Ray, Jon Guthrie and Ollie Turton, who have all recently committed their futures to the club.
