Midfielder Ollie Turton has agreed a new two year deal with the club
Crewe Alexandra is delighted to announce that Oliver Turton has signed a new two-year contract with the Football Club. The 21-year-old has signed a new and improved deal to take him through to the summer of 2015.
Turton has made 38 first-team appearances, which has included 11 during the current campaign. He opened his goalscoring account in a 1-1 draw away at Oldham Athletic back in September.
A knee injury has limited his opportunities this season, and he last featured away at Sheffield United back in October where he twisted his knee in a challenge with Harry Maguire.
Turton has recently returned for the club’s development squad and is available for selection for this weekend’s trip to Crawley.
Having graduated through the club’s renowned Academy as a right back, the versatile Turton has also played as wing-back and central midfield player for Steve Davis’s first team.
Turton follows the likes of Jon Guthrie, George Ray and George Cooper in agreeing new deals with the club.
