Winger sees consultant to give him peace of mind over injury
November and it is unlikely that he could return for any of our remaining five matches this season.rdCrewe Alexandra winger Ryan Colclough has visited a specialist this week to put his mind at rest over his on-going concern with his hernia problem. Colclough, 19, has not featured since our home clash with Port Vale back on 23
Colclough made a promising start to the season scoring twice in a 2-1 win over Tranmere Rovers but the talented teenager has endured a frustrating season.
Steve told the club’s official web-site: “Ryan is out running and is making progress. It has been a slow process with him but we have to make sure he is 100% right.
“He has been to see a consultant this week and for the surgeon to have a look again. It was just to put his mind at rest a bit and let him know that everything is okay.
“When he is ready I’m sure he will push on. If he will be able to play again this season, we’ll have to see because like Max (Clayton) he has missed a lot of football.”
