Boss targets win at Ashton Gate to ease relegation fears with two to go

Steve Davis has told the club’s official web-site that he hopes one more win from our two remaining game will be enough to see us safe in Skybet League One. Crewe travel to Bristol City this weekend before finishing a difficult season against play-off bound Preston North End.

Steve told the club’s official web-site: “We still think that one win from the last two games may prove to be enough to do it.

“Looking at it, I’d think that 50 points could be enough but you never know. We will try and win both games.

“We want to look at ourselves and make sure we get the points we need rather than looking at other results and relying on other people.

“It is all about what we do. Bristol will want to finish the season on a high in front of their own fans. We have just got to make sure we are not in the bottom four on the final day of the season.”
