Assistant manager wants more of the same from teenager

Neil Baker has told the club’s official web-site that he is looking for that level of performance from young midfielder Liam Nolan. The Northern Ireland Youth International was recalled to the starting line-up for the first time since the visit of Swindon Town on March 1st and helped the club to a priceless three points at Crawley.

Nolan, who has been capped at Under-21 level came into the side for George Evans to operate alongside the consistent Anthony Grant.

The club’s assistant manager told crewealex.net: “I am a Liam fan and he has been fine. Every time he comes into the side he has never let us down and he has performed well for the Under-21s.

“He came into the team on Saturday and was one of our top three or four players and if we can get that level of performance from him from now until the end of the season then we will be delighted with him.”
