Pogba: "I'm In A Rush"

Mathias Pogba hoping to be back ahead of schedule

Mathias Pogba is hoping to be back playing for the Alex ahead of schedule. The Guinean International had to undergo knee surgery in the summer after being caught by the then Manchester United defender Scott Wootton during our pre-season friendly with the current Premier League champions.

Last season’s top scorer Pogba has not featured this season, but he is now off his crutches and still has a smile on his face.

Pogba told Crewe Alex Player: "Injuries are part of the job and as a player you will have good times and bad times. At this moment it is a bad time, but I know that the good times will come back soon. You just have to keep going, work hard and try to get back out on the pitch as soon as you can.

“I am in a rush to be back because it has been a tough last few months for me. I am aiming to be back before December but I will listen to the medical advice and make sure I am right. I have worked hard to make sure that I can get back sooner than expected and I will be stronger and fitter.

“I want to help the team. I like to come and watch my team-mates and I still like being part of the squad even though I cannot play at the moment.”

There is a lot more from a bubbly Pogba now on Crewe Alex Player. Why not subscribe now to hear the interview in full?
