Second Round draw to take place this Saturday

Local neighbours Port Vale are one of seven teams that Crewe Alexandra could face in the second round of the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy.

A Chuks Aneke header 11 minutes from time kept the Alex on course to retain the trophy, and they will find out who they will face in the next round on Saturday morning.

Once again the draw is regionalised, with the Alex in the North West section, along with the likes of Port Vale, Preston, Oldham and Carlisle.
