Duggy On His Tranmere Loan

Tranmere loanee catches up with crewealex.net

Adam Dugdale says he is happy to be getting minutes under his belt after joining up with Tranmere Rovers. The 25-year-old centre-half who has switched to Prenton Park for a month, played his first senior game since early March on Saturday and helped Rovers keep a clean sheet in their 0-0 home draw with Stevenage.

Duggy was relieved to finally get some action after what has been a tough time both on and off the field for the likeable defender.

Speaking after the Tranmere game, Duggy said: “It is good to be playing again, that’s all I wanted to be honest. It’s been a long time since I played competitive football. The longer I had to wait, the more it was getting frustrating for me so I was relieved to get those 90 minutes.

“I was happy with the way the day went and the clean sheet helped. I’m enjoying it here. I’m here to get as much game time as I can.

“I’m enjoying playing for Crewe and enjoying being here at Tranmere. At the end of the day, I just want to be playing football.”
