Defender's time with Tranmere comes to an end
Crewe Alexandra can confirm that Adam Dugdale has returned to the club from his loan with Tranmere Rovers. The 26-year has linked up with the Alex squad this morning and will look to make his return to the Alex side in Saturday’s trip to Notts County.
Dugdale made five appearances during his month at Prenton Park, scoring one goal in a defeat against Brentford. He lined up for Tranmere in a defeat to Port Vale on Saturday but will now be back with the Alex as they look to bounce-back from Saturday’s defeat to Gillingham.
He will provide competition in the centre of the Alex defence after a knee injury to Harry Davis in Saturday's defeat to the Gills. Davis will undergo a scan on his knee later today to see the extent of the damage.
