The club welcome Gillingham to Gresty Road tomorrow to mark the manager’s 100
Steve said of his forthcoming milestone: “Every one of the past 99 games has been memorable for different reasons. I have had the privilege of being the manager of Crewe for 100 games and have managed to bring some success.
“There have been times when we have had dips in form, which you can get with young teams and some poor performances. Over those last 99 games, there will good 45 minutes and then not so good, but we have had certainly more highs than lows.
“I would imagine that if I sat down and went through all the previous games I would remember them and kick and head every ball again.
He added: “There have been some great performances and of course winning twice at Wembley is something you never forget.”
