Baker praise for resilient bunch of players

Baker, the club’s assistant manager, has admitted that the staff are still unsure of their best XI and why we have conceded 14 goals in the last four games, but says the dressing room will bounce back.


Baker told the club’s official web-site: “We have conceded 14 goals in the last four games and it is up to us to work out why that has happened. We are gutted for the players because they didn’t deserve to concede four at Fleetwood or four at Notts County, but they did.



“The players were hugely disappointed to go out of the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy on Tuesday night but players get over those sort of things pretty quickly. They have to. They have to be a resilient bunch because another game comes around quickly enough.


He added: “It is the nature of the beast that they can get over disappointments quickly. They get over things quicker than the staff and the supporters. They are ready to go again and that is a positive. They are all working hard and we are all working hard to get some results.”
