Boss says defender will go straight back in to the squad after his return

Boss Steve Davis has told crewealex.net that Adam Dugdale will feature for the Alex in their trip to Notts County tomorrow. Dugdale returned to the club from a month-long loan deal at Tranmere Rovers earlier this week and could go straight in to the starting line-up for the trip to Meadow Lane.

Davis has been impressed with Dugdale’s fitness over the last week and says that his loan deal with Tranmere has worked well for the Alex.

Steve told crewealex.net: “Adam will figure for us tomorrow and that was the idea with bringing him back from Tranmere. I’m glad we got him out on loan because he has managed to get some competitive games under his belt and build his fitness up.

“Tranmere might not have got the results they wanted while Duggy was there but I think he has done quite well for him. He is fit and is raring to go and is really looking forward to his opportunity.”
