Defender making progress ahead of home double header
Crewe Alexandra are hoping that Harry Davis may be able to return to training towards the end of this week but it is unlikely that the defender will be fit enough to be considered for the visit of Bristol City this weekend. Davis could be available for the visit of Stevenage on Tuesday night.
Meanwhile Ryan Colclough has undergone an injection to try and help with the soreness he has encountered around his pubic bone. Colclough has been struggling with his hip and groin ever since originally picking up the injury against Accrington Stanley in the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy.
Steve told crewealex.net: “We are hopeful that Harry will come back into it soon. He has worked hard to get back and done well in his rehab work. He could be back with us towards the back end of this week but he will definitely be back for next week.
“Ryan has had an injection to help with the discomfort and soreness he has been suffering with and we will have to see how that settles down.”
