Leitch-Smith, Guthrie and Turton all offered new deals

Crewe Alexandra can confirm that they have exercised the right to extend Ajay Leitch-Smith’s contract for another year. A clause in the 22-year-old’s contract gave the Club the option to add an additional year to the forward’s deal which they have now done.

The club have also offered one-year extensions to the deals of Ollie Turton and Jon Guthrie, while second-year scholars Billy Waters and Liam Nolan have been offered professional terms.

Boss Steve Davis has decided against offering new deals to Andy White, Paris Bateman, Brendon Daniels and Harry Clayton. The Club would like to wish these players all the best in the future careers.

Elsewhere, Joe Gorman, Liam Wilson, Brandon Moores and Toby Appleton have also left the club after coming to the end of their two-year scholarship. Again the Club would like to wish these players all the best in the future careers.
