Clayton, Mellor and Ellington all involved for Crewe

Crewe Alexandra’s U21 side are in action against Birmingham City this afternoon. Neil Baker has taken a strong Alex side down to the game at Birmingham’s training ground, with the likes of Max Clayton and Kelvin Mellor both getting a run-out.

Trialist Nathan Ellington has also travelled down with the Alex, and will be aiming to add to his impressive record of three goals in as many games so far.
