Winger doesn't shake off dead leg in time for Crawley trip


Crewe Alexandra winger Byron Moore is set to miss his second successive match for the club after falling to shake off a dead leg. Moore picked up the knock in the 1-1 draw with Shrewsbury Town last Saturday, forcing him to miss Tuesday’s 2-1 win over MK Dons.



This slight injury has hit Moore at just the wrong time as the Stoke-on-Trent born forward was hitting a good rein of form.

The Alex medical staff are hoping that the 24-year-old will be able to resume training this week and declare himself available for selection ahead of the Easter programme against Bury on Good Friday and Preston North End on the Easter Monday.



Steve Davis said: "Bryon is not quite there yet. He is nearly there and running again in the gym, but he is not quite there. I am sure he will be okay for next week."



Crewe are without Brad Inman (ankle), Jon Guthrie (hernia) and Mathias Pogba who is away on International duty with Guinea.
