Inman Ruled Out For Two Weeks

1 March 2013

Attacking midfielder out with ankle injury

"He has not suffered a fracture but there is a lot of swelling and he won't be fit. Perhaps a little rest will do him good anyway and it will give someone else a chance."

"He got a couple of whacks on his ankle in the first half but he came out and gave it a go in the second half. We had to take him off.

Steve Davis told the club's official web-site: "Brad will be a miss because he can score goals from midfield and he has done a really good job for us on the left hand side. He has been playing reasonably well of late, but wasn't having his best game before he limped off against Hartlepool.

The club's head physio has checked out the on-loan Newcastle star's injury and although there is nothing fractured, the Scotland Under-21 International has swelling and bruising to the ankle.

Crewe Alexandra's attacking midfielder Bradden Inman is out of tomorrow's home game against Portsmouth and could face a race against time to face Colchester United the week after. Inman limped out of the club's 3-0 defeat to Hartlepool United on Tuesday evening after getting a severe knock on his ankle.
