Finalists Bid For Supremacy

Can we get more youtube view of our Paint Pot challenge attempt?

Supporters of Johnstone’s Paint Trophy finalists Crewe Alexandra and Southend United have the chance to claim first blood for their team ahead of their big Wembley showdown next month.

The two clubs were amongst ten to take part in this season’s inaugural Johnstone’s Paint Pot Challenge, a unique test of crossing accuracy.

Crewe finished higher up the Paint Pot Challenge leaderboard than Southend, but the battle to secure most views of the respective videos on the official Johnstone’s Paint Trophy YouTube channel is well and truly on.

Crewe have currently attracted around 300 more views than their npower League 2 rivals, but supporters of both clubs still have their chance to ensure their side finish ‘top dogs’ and gain an early advantage ahead of the trip to Wembley on Sunday, April 7.

The videos can be viewed at the official Johnstone’s Paint Trophy You Tube channel athttp://www.youtube.com/user/OfficialJPT.

“The Johnstone’s Paint Pot Challenge has proved hugely popular this season and Crewe and Southend have both played a significant part in that,” said Ben Wilde, Brand and Sponsorship Manager for Johnstone’s Paint.

“It will be very interesting to see which team has attracted the most views on YouTube come the Final, and it will certainly give one set of fans something extra to shout about on what is sure to be a memorable day.”
