Competition to design a football boot with Johnstone's Paint Trophy Final

Creative young football fans are being invited to design a football boot of their dreams ahead of the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy Final at Wembley on April 7.

 

The youngster who designs the best piece of footwear will win a pair of top-of-the-range boots up to the value of £100 and a replica Johnstone’s Paint Trophy football.

 

The competition is one of a number launched by Johnstone’s Paint, designed to involve people of all ages in the pre-Final fun. The Final, which takes place on Sunday April 7, will see Southend United take on Crewe Alexandra for the Trophy.

 

The ‘Design a Boot’ template can bedownloaded from the website, and under-12s are asked to design their boot in time for the Final.

 

Ten runners up will be chosen and will each win a replica Johnstone’s Paint Trophy football. The children’s work will also be featured on the official website.

 

“The Johnstone’s Paint Trophy is a tournament that the whole family can enjoy,” said Ben Wilde, Johnstone’s Paint Brand and Sponsorship Manager.

 

“We wanted to launch a competition for under-12s so they could show us their creativity and flair ahead of the Final to get all the family into the celebratory spirit.”
