Steve Davis looking forward to the remaining five weeks of the season

April.^thSteve Davis has told the club’s official web-site that with a Wembley date coming up and some re-arranged fixtures to fulfil, it is going to be an exciting end to the season for everyone associated with the club. Davis is now looking forward to the Easter campaign before he sets his sights on Southend and the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy Final on 7

Steve told crewealex.net: “It is going to be a busy five weeks for everyone, especially with a Wembley Cup Final coming up. The games are going to come thick and fast now but we are focussing on the next game. It is one game at a time as far as we are concerned.

“Easter is always a busy time and we have tough games against Bury on Good Friday and Preston on Easter Monday. Then we can look forward to the final and plan for Southend.

“That is the way it is and we just have to get on with it. We are in the entertainment business and that is what we are going to try and do in the remaining weeks of the season.”
