Inman back from Newcastle check-up
.thCrewe Alexandra’s on-loan midfielder Brad Inman is back after being given the all-clear by his parent club Newcastle. The Australian-born Inman has been struggling with an ankle injury after being forced off away at Hartlepool, but his return to fitness is a welcomed boost ahead of our remaining league fixtures and Johnstone’s Paint Trophy final on April 7
Inman has certainly caught the eye before his injury, scoring six goals from midfield in his 17 appearances.
Crewe boss Steve Davis told crewealex.net: “Brad is back with us and we are glad that he is back involved. We have missed him, because he had played very well before he got injured.
“We missed him because he is a goal threat and offers something from midfield with those deep runs. He has scored goals and has a lot of pace. He is a great asset to our midfield and a valuable member of our team.
“He won’t be considered for the Crawley game as he needs a week of training behind him but we could consider him for Bury on Friday.”
