Three spectacular strikes have been shortlisted in the latest installment of the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy Ultimate Finish award, and fans have been asked to vote on which goal they think is worthy of the prize.

The goals have been chosen from ten that were scored in the Area Finals that took place in February. The Northern Area Final saw Crewe Alexandra beat Coventry City 3-2 on aggregate, whilst the Southern Area Final went to a tense finish with Southend United beating Leyton Orient 3-2 on aggregate with a very late goal.

The final choice will now rest with fans who will decide which player joins Portsmouth’s Brian Howard, Joel Grant of Wycombe Wanderers, Southend United’s Kevan Hurst as winners of this season’s coveted award.

It is another nomination for Crewe Alexandra’s Barry Corr, who won the Ultimate Finish for his goal against Oxford United in the Area Semi-Final.
