Leading scorer expected to be fit for pre-season training next week
. The powerful forward, who hit 16 goals last season, has been undergoing treatment in Italy and France following surgery on his thigh after he aggravated it on Easter Monday against Preston.thMathias Pogba is expected to return to the UK shortly and resume pre-season training on June 25
The 22-year-old has been permitted to conduct his rehabilitation with the surgeon who conducted the operation, but has previously been over to Crewe to be checked over by the club’s head physio Rob Sharp.
Neil Baker told the club’s official web-site: “His representatives are very good, they have sorted out the best physio and rehab.
“I think he will be fit for the start of the pre-season next week. We expect him to be ready.”
