Osman Aiming To Be Even Better

Abs says move to come from him

Abdul Osman is expecting an even tougher League One campaign next season with the likes of Wolves and Bristol City dropping into our division and our near neighbours Port Vale coming up, but the combative midfielder is hopeful that Crewe Alexandra can be in the mix for a play-off spot.

Osman told the club’s official web-site: “It was a great season for everyone, winning the JPT and finishing in mid-table but there is more to come from us. There is more to come from me. I think I can do even better and I would like to score a few goals as well.

“The lads will be aiming for promotion. We want to be involved in the race for the play-of spots and we can only tell the fans that is what we want. We will be trying to push on.

“It is a competitive league and very tiring. After coming back from playing in Greece it was tough because there is not as many games over there. It is punishing on the body and a hard season. We were playing Tuesday, Saturday, Tuesday for a lot of the season but we are fit lads and get on with it.”
