Former Red Devil aims to win himself a contract at Crewe
Neil Baker says the club will take a close look at the former Manchester United youngster Luke Giverin following his release from Old Trafford this summer.
The midfielder spent a period on loan at Royal Antwerp and impressed at United enough to be named captain of the reserves under Warren Joyce. Giverin is set to travel with the squad for the warm up game against Celtic this weekend in an attempt to impress and win himself a deal at the Alexandra Stadium.
Baker said of Giverin: “He is a Manchester United boy who has been in Belgium with Antwerp, one of United's feeder clubs.
“He's now back in England and he's having a look at us and we are having a look at him. There is nothing like having them in front of you, analysing them and seeing if they will fit into what we do here.”
