Steve on new summer capture Vadaine Oliver
Steve Davis has told the club’s official web-site of his delight in completing his first signing of the summer after the Lincoln City striker Vadaine Oliver joined on a two-year deal. Oliver signed this afternoon after completing a routine medical with the club’s head physio Rob Sharp.

thThe 21-year-old will now join his new team-mates for a number of our summer sessions before reporting back for full time training on June 25
Steve told the club’s official web-site: “Vadaine is a player we have watched for a while and he has had a very good year with Lincoln.
“He was at Sheffield Wednesday before that but suffered an injury so his career had to take a different path. He is still young and has a lot of potential.
“He scored goals for Lincoln, including a really good hat-trick on his final appearance there against Hyde. He is a really ambitious lad and we are bringing in him to develop him and make him an even better player.
“He has a similar record to that on Mathias (Pogba) when he was at Wrexham and we believe he is another young lad with a lot of potential. If he can make that sort of impact then we would be delighted.”
