Steve says we have to patient with new signing from Stevenage
Steve Davis is eager to introduce his new summer signing Anthony Grant to first-team action, but says the club will have to be patient with the former Stevenage man as he is being asked to fit into a new midfield role.
The capture of Grant is a major coup for the club and will go some to replacing the huge influential Luke Murphy, who joined Leeds United in the summer.
Crewe boss Steve Davis told the club’s official web-site: “It is still very early in regards to Anthony being here. The work is on-going with him and where he is going to fit in.
“He is learning a new role but he has already shown in training that he is a great athlete and has shown that in training. His work ethic is fist class.
“He is a bubbly lad and good to have around the place. He is a confident lad and he is determined to fit and have a good season.”
