Steve admits he hasn't decided on his starting XI for the weekend

Following a poor performance at Chester and a heavy defeat by Aston Villa on Friday night, Crewe Alexandra boss Steve Davis says there are still a handful of places up for grabs ahead of the big kick off on Saturday.

Davis admits that he is closer to knowing the majority of his starting line-up but following the 5-1 to the Villa on Friday night, he has stated that there are 'two or three places' up for grabs at least.

Steve told the club’s official web-site: “We haven’t totally decided on what our starting line-up will be and there may be two or three changes from the side that started against Aston Villa on Friday. In fact there could be more.

“There is a game left and a full week of training for them to push themselves forward and make sure they are in the team. It is up to the individual to show that they cannot be left out.”
