Vadaine ruled out with groin strain

Only new striker Vadaine Oliver is struggling to be fit to be included in this week’s friendlies against Chester and Stafford Rangers on Monday. Oliver has a slight groin strain after aggravating it in the 4-1 win over Nantwich Town, a game where Oliver stood out with a second half hat-trick.

The injury to the former Lincoln City and Sheffield Wednesday youngster is not deemed as serious and it is hoped that he could play some part against Aston Villa this time next week.

His fellow striker AJ Leitch-Smith has made a return to training following a similar groin strain and defenders Harry Davis (dead leg) and Gregor Robertson (Achilles) are both back in training.
