Alex midfielder nominated for League One award

Crewe Alexandra midfielder Luke Murphy has been nominated for the League One Player of the Month award for December. Murphy was in excellent form for the Railwaymen during the final month of 2012, featuring in six out of the seven games and helping Crewe to three wins from four League One games.
