Brad Delighted To Re-Sign

Inman pleased with the way things have gone so far at Crewe

Brad Inman says he was delighted when Steve Davis came to him and asked if he wanted his loan deal extended with the club. The on-loan midfielder has extended his spell with us for another month and his three goals in five games have made him an instant hit with Crewe supporters.

Inman, who has represented Scotland Under-21s, was delighted to pen his new deal yesterday.

Brad told crewealex.net: “It is important for my development to play in competitive matches and I’ve learnt so much already. I didn’t know what to expect when I came down from Newcastle but I’ve enjoyed it and the lads have made me settle in quite quickly. It took me a bit of time to get used to the tempo and physical side of the game, but I think I have adjusted now.

“It is nice to score goals but the most important thing is for the team to be winning games. There is a good bunch here and we have moved into the top half of the table now. We are in a decent position.

“When the gaffer came to me last week and said he wanted me to stay, I was pleased with it. I was hoping that something could be sorted out between the two clubs because I’m enjoying my football here.

“Everything helps here. The training is designed to make you a better player and when you are playing in a competitive match, you quickly become more mature if you like with your performances.”
