Davis to wait until after Stevenage game before making decision on Lauri

Boss Steve Davis says he will decide on whether to extend Lauri Dalla Valle’s loan spell from Fulham after Saturday’s game with Stevenage.

Dalla Valle has hit five goals in 11 appearances for the Alex, but the game with Boro is set to be his last in a Crewe shirt.

Davis admits he has a decision to make: “Lauri has the Stevenage game and then we will reassess the situation. I am not quite sure what to do yet.

“He is a real team player and is good goal poacher, he showed that against Carlisle. He will improve as he plays more games so we will talk with Fulham about the situation.”
