Ellington nets his third goal in as many games but Crewe held

Nathan Ellington netted his third goal in as many games, but the Alex were held to a 1-1 draw at Wigan Athletic this afternoon.

Ellington gave the Alex a first-half lead, but a late Wigan strike denied the Alex the points.

Neil Baker named a strong team for the game with the likes of Max Clayton, Matt Tootle, Ryan Colclough and Michael West all getting a run-out along with several second-year scholars.
