Steve has a selection headache ahead of Northern Final second leg.

leg following the execution of counter attacking game plan at the Ricoh Arena, but Davis is certainly taking nothing for granted.ndSteve Davis admits he has a nice selection headache to make ahead of Wednesday’s Johnstone’s Paint Trophy’s Area Final with Coventry City. Crewe have a 3-0 advantage to take into the 2

The Alex boss has already hinted that he could change his personnel to see the job through with defenders Matt Tootle and Harry Davis available for selection and forwards Byron Moore, Max Clayton and Ryan Colclough pushing for places after starting on the bench in the club’s last outing against Bournemouth. Mathias Pogba, who missed the first leg at the Ricoh Stadium after being called up by Guinea for a friendly against Senegal, is again available.

Steve told the club’s official web-site:  “We will have a look at things today and decide what we are going to do. It is always nice to have everyone available and to have that choice.

“I can change the personnel around to suit our game plan and hopefully we can surprise Coventry with one or two things again.

“They have a new manager and have made one or two changes of their own as well. James Bailey started on Saturday and we know what a good footballer he is and young Cameron came in at the back. He is an athletic type and solid so there will be changes from the first game.

“One thing is for sure Coventry have to go for it and score the goals they need so they will go for an attacking option. They have nothing to lose and we will have to defend well and when I say that I mean from the front."
