Ellington on the mark as Crewe win 3-0

Trialist Nathan Ellington was on the mark as Crewe Alexandra’s U21 side achieved a 3-0 victory over Derby County at Reaseheath this afternoon.

Ellington scored after 72 minutes to add to Max Clayton’s opener to give the Alex a comfortable lead against the Rams.

Brendon Daniels added a third late-on for a strong Crewe side that featured the likes of Ryan Colclough, Gregor Robertson, Alan Martin and Ollie Turton.
