Injured defender rated doubtful for Ricoh trip

Davis did not train today and is undergoing extensive treatment to see if he can declare himself available for selection. He is the only player rated doubtful by the Crewe Alexandra manager ahead of our first leg tie.

Crewe Alexandra defender Harry Davis is rated as a doubt for tomorrow night's trip to Coventry City in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy. The defender has undergone treatment on the toe injury which forced him off in the club's 1-0 win over Scunthorpe United at the weekend. He was replaced by Mark Ellis in the second half and the former Torquay United will be on stand-by if Davis is unable to shake off the injury.
