Baker: "We Have Prepared Well"

20 February 2013

Neil Baker previews this evening's Johnstone's Paint Trophy

Neil Baker, Crewe Alexandra’s assistant manager says the Railwaymen will be approaching the game this evening looking to win. Crewe have a 3-0 lead from the first leg, but Baker has been in the game long enough to know that setting up in an attempt to contain Coventry won’t be the best step forward.

Baker says Crewe will look to win the game and create chances against Lee Carsley’s side.

Neil told the club’s official web-site: “It is a big game because it is an opportunity to get through to a final.  The players don’t need telling.

“We have planned our tactics and are looking forward to it. The players have prepared well and we know we have to play well and improve on our first leg performance. We will be looking to win the game and will approach it with the right attitude.”
