Striker hoping to join in with the football again this week

Mathias Pogba is hoping to be included in full training with the football this week. The club’s leading scorer last season with 16 goals in all competitions has not featured since injuring his knee in pre-season against Manchester United.

The club remain hopeful that the Guinean International could feature over the busy Christmas period or for the beginning of 2014.

Steve Davis kept us to up-to-date: “Pogs has joined in the running and will have some involvement in the football this week, but we will be very choosy about what he does.

“Ryan Colclough is over the chest infection that has been with him for nearly four week. It will be great to those two back it will be like having two new signings.”
