Inman happy to be back involved
Crewe Alexandra midfielder Brad Inman is hopeful he can help the Alex climb the League One table after returning to the Crewe side in the win over Colchester on Sunday.
After a spell on the side-lines, Inman was recalled by Alex boss Steve Davis and the former Newcastle United man repaid the faith of the Alex boss with two second-half assists that helped the Alex to an excellent comeback win.
Speaking after the game, Inman was delighted to make a contribution but was quick to point out that there is still plenty of work to be done.
Inman told crewealex.net: “The win at Colchester was great for us. Going 1-0 down in the game wasn’t easy but coming back to win 2-1 shows that everybody is up for the fight now. Now we have just got to keep pushing on.
“The confidence is there now and for me it is great to be back in the team. I am thankful for what the gaffer has done for me and thankful that he put me back in the team. I just want to put the last couple of months behind me and push on.
“Crewe did a lot for me last season and I have to repay them for that. The fans have been brilliant with me too so I have to repay them as well. I feel good now and just want to help the team get some results.”
