Inman recalled and back to his creative best

Steve Davis is hopeful that Brad Inman’s man-of-the-match performance at Colchester will be the catalyst for a more consistent second half of the season. Inman was recalled to the starting line-up for the first time since he scored a fantastic goal against Preston back in October.

Inman was recalled for Byron Moore and was back to his best with his forward runs and ability to get shots off. He created both goals in Crewe’s superb 2-1 win at the weekend.

Steve told crewealex.net: “I was pleased with Brad’s performance and he did really well for us. He had a hand in both goals and hopefully that will give him a greater confidence in the second half of the season.

  "We should also have Ryan (Colclough) and Mathias (Pogba) back soon in the New Year so that is looking better for us.”
