Oliver Turton ruled out with foot injury

Young midfielder Oliver Turton will not be risked whilst he recovers from a slight tendon injury in his foot. Turton will miss tomorrow’s trip to Swindon Town and is unlikely to feature against Accrington Stanley in the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy first round tie on Tuesday night.

Turton is undergoing rehab at the club’s Reaseheath complex and hopes to be resume full training again sometime next week.

Defender Thierry Audel has also been ruled out with a slight ankle problem following his collision with Hay Davis in training at the beginning of the week. The Frenchman will not travel this weekend but has a chance to be included against Accrington.

Byron Moore (quad) is out and Mathias Pogba remains a long-term absentee with a knee injury.
