Molyneux back from suspension and Moore hoping to be fit
Steve Davis is hoping to have more options available for this weekend’s home match against Tranmere Rovers. The Alex boss has been struggling for options in wide areas but could welcome back Byron Moore from injury and summer signing Lee Molyneux from suspension. He is set to be without last season’s leading scorer Mathias Pogba for months after the forward had surgery on his knee.
Moore has been struggling with a quad injury and has missed the last two matches, but he is expected to train this week.
Molyneux has now served his three-match suspension following his dismissal for his previous club Accrington Stanley at the end of last season.
In the absence of Moore, youngster Max Clayton has been used in a wide area, but he interchanged with AJ Leitch-Smith at the MK Dons on Saturday.
