Alex confirm Bradden signing from Newcastle

Crewe Alexandra is delighted to confirm the signing of Brad Inman from Newcastle United on a three-year contract for an undisclosed fee. The club received all the relevant paperwork this evening and Inman would be eligible to play against Leyton Orient this weekend if manager Steve Davis so wishes. Inman, 21, will wear the number 14 shirt.

The Australian born midfield player certainly impressed on loan last season, scoring 8 goals in his 26 appearances and helping the club to victory in the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy Final win over Southend in April. Inman’s promise as a youngster in Newcastle United’s Youth Academy saw him earn International recognition at Under-19 and Under-21 level for Scotland.

Inman turned down Newcastle’s offer of a new 12 months extension in the summer to return to Crewe Alexandra on a permanent basis.

The deal is subject to FA, Premier League and Football League Clearance.
