Club still waiting on Newcastle's next move
Crewe boss Steve Davis has told the club’s official web-site that there is not nothing new to report on the club’s on-going pursuit of the Newcastle United midfielder Bradden Inman.
The club have submitted an improved bid in a quest to avoid a transfer tribunal but are still awaiting a response either way from the Premier League side. Inman, 21, has rejected the offer of a new contract at St. James’ Park, but would command a compensation fee because he is under 24.
Inman has expressed a desire to play first team football at Crewe Alexandra and both clubs hope to resolve the matter and avoid a tribunal situation.
